Postpartum Doula in Northwest Chicagoland and Southern Wisconsin
Welcome! I am Eva: wife, mom to three incredible boys, and certified postpartum doula. Bringing home a new baby is a profound transition for the entire family, and it was never meant to be navigated without support. For generations, new parents were surrounded by a village of sisters, aunties, neighbors, and elders who helped care for both baby and household in the tender weeks and months after birth. Modern life has pulled much of that built-in support away. Although we plan carefully for pregnancy, labor and birth, we rarely if ever prepare for what comes after. Having a baby is hard work whether it is your first or your tenth, and no two recoveries are the same; it unfolds over months, and in some ways years, which is far longer than the standard 6 week checkup suggests. It deserves intention and real support.
When you nourish your body, prioritize rest, and take your recovery seriously, you create the conditions for a peaceful postpartum. You do not have to push through or figure it out alone. You deserve to be cared for too. In this season of giving everything to your baby, you deserve someone who is focused on mothering you.
You deserve to enjoy a peaceful postpartum.

I started my journey not unlike so many others that have found their passion in birth and postpartum work: when I had my first son. I learned so many valuable and hard lessons during pregnancy, birth and postpartum. It made me wonder how many other moms miss out on how wonderful postpartum can be if we approach it with a plan, the right kind of support (and lots of it), and a willingness to let the hard moments teach us resilience and strength. My first postpartum ignited a curiosity and desire to learn more about how I could have done it differently, and before 6 months passed I was expecting another boy. I decided I was going to do it differently this time, and when I did, the result was like night and day! By the time I had my third son, I felt like I had the knowledge and personal experience to finally step foot into the role where I could be the voice of guidance and empowerment for moms who recognize the value of building a village around herself during the most intense part of her life.
I love to spend my days outside with all my boys playing in the sun, going on walks, traveling, singing, cooking, and I also have a few crafty hobbies to help me wind down like crocheting.
